Eligibility Criteria

To qualify for the University of Toronto Lester B. Pearson Scholarships, applicants must:

  • Be in their final year of secondary school during the 2026/2027 academic session or have graduated no earlier than June 2026
  • Begin undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto in September 2027
  • Be nominated by their secondary school

Applicants who have already started post-secondary education or will begin studies before September 2027 are not eligible.

Students may apply to up to three undergraduate programmes at the University of Toronto, but if selected, the scholarship will apply only to their first-choice programme.
